Atul Kumar

An overview of the plant pathology research at Birsa Agricultural University, India

 Dr Atul Kumar is a visiting scientist with QABC. His areas of work include Teaching, Research and Extension components.He is working as chickpea pathologist, and is also looking after maize diseases.He is the Principal Investigator of a Project on “Development of molecular probes for diagnosis of different virulent and anastomosis groups of Rhizoctonia solani infecting leguminous crops”. He also manages the Plant Health Clinic of the college, a new concept of the Government of India.
